Well you can ask a senior citizen to move (if you send out the right signals) but not a trashcan. :D

If you can't handle criticism then you should not enter your shots in a competition where the picture is judged.

how can this run-off take place when I just voted in one of the separate threads, and not for the dust bin Ferrari:D

I sure can handle it, but you keep criticising abt the same things allmost every competition. No hard feelings, but as we dutchies say "het is uitgekauwd"...in other words we get the point

I dont wanna argue with you, but that's my criticism towards you then.

I can critize these shots on more than just the obvious distractions, but then everybody would get pissed off. This just caught my eye because both the shots were in the run off.

lower exposure and a slower shutter speed

I really don't like either picture. If you asked me, there were tons of photographs in both comps that were more worthy of making it here; it's a shame that the photo comps are just 'coolest car you saw in the past two months' comps now.

Fumacher does have the better of these two.

I agree...it's getting to be quite ridiculous..

Just like Cotterik said, a slower shutter speed and some good panning will get the sense of speed in there. As it is the wire wheels are fully visible and in a slick action shots those should be blurred. This is not the biggest problem with this shot, that's the sun. Because of the polished aluminum body there is no getting away with the fact that the sun is behind the car and not behind the photographer, which would be ideal. This completely overexposes the front fender, the most prominent piece of this car in the shot. It can work but only with colours that don't reflect like this aluminum. I do like the contrasting greens in the shot, which really makes the car stand out.
