mitsu is now offering a free round of golf or a spa treatment in Canada, is it just me or are they getting desperate? Free year of gas, free round of golf, what next? free lancer with purcase of mitshubishi stock?

Thats cuz if they dont sell cars there gonna go bankrupt.
Maybe they'll have a fair and have thosands of cars in a giant Jar- and if you guess how many you get to buy one!

Free spa treatment in Canada? Wouldn't be a very good promotion for those in California or Texas.

not particularly, my mum's lancer is still going fine with no problems, despite having 2 people learn to drive it and it recieving frequent strappings from me

You're acting like to whole salesment from Mitsubishi comes from Canada. That is such bull. In Asia Mitsubishi is still very popular and the have a massive production in cars in I think in other electronics too. The chance that they will go bankrupt is very small.
I think those actions are to make Mitsubishi more popular in Canada. They just want to compete with the American manufacturers and show the costumers that Mitsubishis are good cars for a decent price.

no its cause somthing in the engine can only survive a 4 kph hit where canada requires it to withstand 8kph. some part near the hood.
