I wanna see a red and white Ford GT running down a small lane with tree's on both sides of the lane, and for it to be autumn, and to have orange leaves all over the trees, and lot on the ground, with the GT making them shoot back. I wanna see a rearview of the car. That would be a SICK picture.

Fortunately not, I'm not "lucky" enough to live there...
Thats exactly here (http://www.viamichelin.fr/viamichelin/fra/dyn/controller/mapPerformPage?strAddress=&strCP=78&strLocation=Davron&strCountry=1424&image2.x=18&image2.y=11), a "city" of 50 people!!! (I hope the link works...)

Yes I know this is amazing to find that at 30 minutes from Paris!

Great, but this isn't the automotive photo thread, this is general photo comp.;)

if you used a slower shutter speed, that would be a killer.

and esperante's photo more than deserved the win last week.

I know, was just thinking that, but believe me I could not possibly take tripod there and light was relatively bright, so even with 100ISO I would probably need a filter to dim the light that I don't have.:)

(Took about 23 thousand pictures to get the lighting and placement just right-I still don't think I did it right.)
What I like a lot about this picture is, not only can you get to know my favoured photographic style, but you can get an idea of my tastes from what's in the picture.

First thing my eye caught was the phone cord and that brought me to the plug. Try blocking the left part of the picture from the book case over, looks a lot better. :)

The framing was especially difficult. If I had pushed it any further to the right, you would've gotten a big, drab, open space with an ugly printer. When you get the plug, it just seems a little more bohemian and gritty. :) But I do agree it needs some panning.

Happy PlaceGreat theme for a picture, I think I'll have to have a go at something similar later on. I reckon that centralising the vinyl player and making it more of a focal point would have worked a bit better though. Maybe with the headphones on top of it.

It's a bit difficult to make out the books and cars on my screen, could you have managed a lamp or something else nearby?

Just my tuppence worth. Definately a nice idea, will have to have a think about that one for a bit!
