I know but I hadn't looked at the front overhang on the regular A6 before, usually see it moving and admire the overall shape. They're looking to reduce the front overhang on the next A4 as far as I know.

You know, over the past two months, Audi has reeaaaallly moved up in my view (not just because of new cars). I am really starting to love them, and this car is only adding to that big time.

the RS6 will have a 4wheel drive ithink:confused: and the M5 sequential is just amazing .. ive been reading more about the M5 and i think even if the RS6 will have a 600hp the M5 will still compete with it...
( like i read in BMWM5.com) the M5 was a gr8 competetor to the galardo and many other superars(as porche) so audi do need 600hp to be able to compete with the M5

Yet the M6 couldn't cleanly outrun a 180bhp front wheel drive Renault...
Numbers don't mean anything.

anyways thats what i meant to tell him... if the audi has 600 Hp that doesnt mean that it will win against the M5 so we will wait and see

i never said that i dont love Audi
Audi has gr8 cars and gr8 performance but my only problem is that they all look alike but that is not why i will never buy an Audi..
being a BMW Fan (family owned 4 BMW)(owned 1BMW) i ever had a single problem with the performance i always wanted what i expected from the car.. but driving my friends Audi is a complete difference between it and BMW's
and dont tell me its because of the age... the best BMW (family owned ) was the 1997 528BMW and the audi that i drove was the 2001audi A6 and i still enjoyed more the BMW

The amount of 'car' past the front axle. Common problem for supercars when trying to go over speed bumps.

And some actual specs, rather than; "My 'source' who is in the know *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* told me it's going to have a V10,000 and a Gazillion horse powers and will pwnd the Starship Enterprise on the strip."

Why would the use of a V10 in the S8 prevent a V10 from being used in an RS6?
The previous S8 and RS6 both had V8s...
I think it is more than likely that it will have a VAG V10, but I am not so convinced of 600+bhp

I don't mind the way it looks, of course the previous generation cars looked way better. They need to shorten the wheelbase a bit, I think.
But hot damn, 600 Horse!
And of course, those pictures are of a test mule, not the actual production car.

i don't think they get that much choice. they are stuck with mounting the engine so far forward with the chassis design. i believe they are trying to change their designs to allow the engine to be mounted further back.
All they have to do is remove those wheel arches and it will still look at least 100 times better than the M5. I can predict now that it won't be as good as the M5, but I can't stand the M5's styling, so I don't care.

i am in love with the 5 sereis ... its just toooooo dam hot.... and the 3 sereis is unbeleivable... all it needs is for u to stair at the car for a while and u will apreciate what ur looking at
