The TR Flat-12 was always a great idea, and I'm also a huge fan. However, there was one flaw: It had an awesome low center of gravity, and then they went and ruined it by mounting it above the gearbox :)

Meh :) Still a fantastic engine :)

I remember the Countach as being almost a deity when I was in school. ( Im 100). It was the ultimate supercar. Still pretty radical looking, somewhat timeless, what makes a classic I suppose. The story went that it was too wide to register legally in South Australia. The lo, I saw one parked one day and knelt to pray.

i saw 2 Trs some months ago & they both were gr8. i could make out by the sound of the engine that it was a v12. they were both stuck in traffic so i had a good look at both of them. ive never seen a countach in real. it used to be my fav. car when i was a kid even though i didnt know it name back then. the countach looks too weak from the front & rear like an airless balloon but if it wasnt for the countach we wouldnt hve the diablo , murcielago & baby gallardo.
the TR is an awesome car & has a gr8 v12 so i'll choose it

My vote goes for the Countach, it just looks mean all over, 30 yr old design and still looking great, for me it is the original quintessential supercar.

Hard one for me to say which I like better. The Testa Rossa I've always regarded as flat out ugly, and the Countach as cartoonish. However, because the Lambo has an awesome shift pattern, I'll pick it :)

hmmm repost.

well i like the Countach because it has has the futuristic styling that is popular today- 20+ years after it was designed.

but also I like how it can also go fast, unlike cars like the Nissan R390GT1 road cars that are all show and no go.

If I didn't have to own one it would be the Lambo, but they're renowned for being awful cars to drive and hugely impractical so it would be the TR for me, although I would prefer a nice 512M.

you should stick some SUV models around it too, so that way at first the consumer will NEVER see it, at then they'll just settle for some Audi or something.

You're one to talk.

The Countach is amazing. But it depends on which Countach. I would take the Testarossa over the first model design but not over a 5000S.

I beg to differ, I actually think the original Countach was the best looking. The more recent Countachs look a little plasticy IMO.

I would take a 5000S without the wing. It has a great V-12 and has good looks even today.

What is?

The Testarossa vs. Contach comparison...........

I have to say the Contach because it has such a radical line and a great engine. Not that the Testarossa doesn't have a aweosme engine but I have to say I like the Contach more. ;)
