I just picked it up at the store, i'm so excited!

on another and more important note!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :cool: :)

I just saw Jessica Simpson:eek: , I was driving along side her new Mercedes. She is so hot!:eek: Man! i wish i had a camera phone:(

now i just need to wipe the drool off my window:p

its only £37.81 over here xbox 360 games seem to be £40.

The normal price of new games here for the "old" Xbox is about 60-70 EUROS... :o

With the exchange rate isn't that about right? All the game seems to be about the same unless I am way off with the rough currency exchange.

well lets put it this way....regular xbox or ps2 games are $53 after tax, the new games are $65 after tax...it is going up worldwide..you will see it at your stores soon i'm afraid:( but then again the games are 1 billion times better so who cares!:D :D :D

Well the 360 games are 69,90€ here which is about 82$ but then again the same as we've been paying for new games earlier as well. Some things suck about living in a expensive country. :(

I have a question, I know many of you guys along with me will be getting the 360 when it comes out. I was just wondering though, how will you guys transfer all your saved games and info, will the old memory cards work on the 360?
yes, the old mem cards will slide right in...in fact thats really the only reason why it has mem stick ports....i decided today i would buy the hd version...reason- the hd version also comes with hd cables, which i will need for 1080 resolution on my tv;)

same goes for PS3, ive kept my ps2 mem cards...sold the ps2 and all games for it;)

one more interesting tid bit...ps3 comes out in like 3 or 4 months:D

Let's put it this way(for PC): if you don't wanna play online, then you can get whatever game you want for free, only have to pay for games that you do wanna play online. :D :D PC games always remain at the price of $49.99 unless Director's Edition or whatever. :D :D And the games are 1 quadrillion times better!! :D :D

Yeah, that's what many do. I don't buy *that* many games and usually not brand new anyway, and besides if I buy games it's usually a quite impulsive, so I want the game *immediately*... :) But you're right, I should explore the "online" option more thoroughly.

What difference? The prerendered "ingame" shots of the PS3 vs the ingame shots of the 360? Or how they downgraded the hardware from the PS3 from awsome to medicore and still the price for the console is estimated almost double the 360's yet the performance isn't?

It is very similar to NFS Underground, if you liked that you're going to like this too. I quite like the cars in there.

Especially the Fiat Grande Punto (the new one). :D

Oh yes. I got the Black Edition for PS2 yesterday and I couldn't stop playing. Like mentioned above, if you like the free roaming city like NFS underground and the cop chases of older NFS's, then you'll love this game. Oh and IMO this game has one of the best career mode intros ever. Give yourself about 30 mins though as it'll take you about that long to get to a save point. I give it 4.5/5 stars.

a good new ps2 game in aus here is 100 bucks which is pretty expensive here... which makes me think twice about buying any game they are just too expensive even with the ps3 coming out $100 for a game STILL bastards IMO
