Peter and yours truely just had some fun with a new car set for GTR with 1960s/70s Le Mans racers. Included are 917s, 512s, GT40s and even a Chaparral 2F.
He drove his beloved Matra and I hopped in a screaming Alfa Romeo 33/3. The sounds are stunning. For those interested the set can be downloaded here:

Hmm, the addon isnt quite as detailed as i wish it was. The interiors are rubbish, and the cars look very "addonish" (no dirtlayer, not supurb detailing)
but the POWER and SOUND dear god!
Porsche 917k, Monza: 1.35.902 (with room for improvement)

Best mods are still in F1C IMO....Prototype C is just out of this world....
I decided I will get GT Legend though when it is in the N. America....

The Alfa revs to 10,000 rpm, which is literally off the chart. It's a real screamer!

Yeah, if and when does it come over here? I want to play it, and the demo crashes on me :(

It should get to North America in the first quarter of 2006. As for the crashing, it's vital that you set the video card settings correctly before you start the game.
