We used to have Porsche 911's as our police cars, but being able to drive a R33 GTR VSpec as your weapon of choice is restricted to the police in Japan. Here is the Fujimi kit, which is pretty basic, but comes with such niceties as chromed handcoughs, a tripod with a speed camera and a light sabre to regulate traffic. There are also some cones which scream to be sprayed TS36 bright orange...

The black paint has just been sprayed on and the the polishing and cleaning up process has yet to be finalised. TS14 takes a while to harden so I will leave it alone for a week or so.

a light sabre to regulate traffic.

What a strange mental image...

Brings a new meaning to the term "join the force".

carabinieri (= state police/FBI-like something)
polizia di municipale (=city police)

the carabinieri control the traffic on the highway. (better said: NOT control :))

there are only 2 or 3 police galarado's.

may the Schwartz be with you,

here it, together with the tripod, the cones and the handcuffs (the correct spelling has been kindly brought to my attention by Matra, most likely based on his much greater experience with these things:) )

The coolest police car I saw while in Japan was a Subaru WRX. most cop cars are crappy old Toyota Crowns though :( never saw any Skyline cop cars.

Great work on the model. However, what's that strange plastic barrier on the hood of the R33?

I got an R32 and R34 policecar waiting as well. Not in the schedule yet...

finished, even though the black paint did not react well to sanding and polishing, so I left it more or less untouched and concentrated on the white. For more ealism I could have replaced the plastic antenna on the roof with a more realistic wire.

No it isn't, they build the car for the Essen Motorshow this year, but didn't gave it to the police... it is just for show and never will went into the hands of the police, sadly...

And the police here is called "Polizei" ;)

Hm. I think I saw some 996 ones. They were probably 993, because I wasn't as knowledgeable as I am now about cars. :D
