Last monday my new 'home' was openend...
What I'm saying is that last monday a new swimming stadium was openend in Eindhoven. It's the biggest in the Benelux.
It's an amazing building, and it has 3 pools: a 10 lane 52 meter pool (wich will host the 2008 European Champ.), a 4 lane 50 meter pool with 13 underwater camera's and a 25 meter pool with an attached diving tower.
The 52 meter pool has a movable 'wall' of 2 meter so you can have one 50m pool, or 2x25 meters. The 50 meter pool with 4 lanes is equipes with the special 'Vision Training'. This means there are 13 underwater camera's that make the trainer able to see all the moves of the swimmer. And last there is a 25 meter pool with a diving tower. The tower has 7 diving boards at different heights.
The the stadium has some other cool facilities: a sauna, two jacuzzi's, a fitness room and 2 dressing rooms with private showers and baths.
The costs for the stadium where around 25 million euro.
