Hopefully this one is big enough and high res. :) I've done a long list of modifications on this one. The only thing that I'm not happy with is I couldn't quite get the lower mesh to match up right, but other than that I really like it.

Well on this one I just did some matching of colors and painted in the extra parts and then did the shading to make it look right. I also did some copy and pasting.

I know that it's better but since our new computer came with a free 60 trial of PaintShop Pro I thought that I'd make good use of it. :)

Is it just my computer that the colors look really shitty on?

No, the colours are really unsexual...

Yeah man, use high resolution pics and make sure to save your chops at high quality.

Try using this image.

It looks exactly the same as the one I used. Maybe it's my computer or screen resolution.

Maybe if you would've answered my question about how to do this in my M14R thread I would know how to do it.

Maybe if you would've answered my question about how to do this in my M14R thread I would know how to do it.It looks nothing like your original picture. Yours is extremely poor quality and the one I posted is crystal clear.
That's what he means by high-res. High quality, not just image size.

This is what happens when you save the image at the lowest quality possible on PS CS.
First image is the original and the second is the lowest quality save.
I'm assuming the program you use has even lower "lowest quality save"

EDIT: I can make out small differences just by looking at the thumbnails below. Compare the full size images..there are major differences

When you go to save it: File > Save As > (give name, set as JPG) then a new window comes up - set the quality to 12 or maximum. Thats how it is in PS7, but might be diff in CS or whatever

I know what high res is but it must be my computer because the picture you posted looks the same as my original. I'll try to look at that picture quality thing, but I have PaintShop Pro because we got a free trial of it, so does anyone know if it's the same on there or do you do it differently?

Edit: I changed it to low compression which it says gives the best quality. There's also something about encoding and chroma sub sampling and there's an optimizer, but I don't know what that does.

Okay I can see the difference now. :o I tried the low compression good quality thing, here it is.

I tried to match the colors better. I also did just a cool looking thing to it. :)

It's still quite bad quality. I'm not sure if it's the program you use or your computer/monitor..

DANG IT!! Well maybe I should check out that optimizer thing.

Edit: The optimizer left me at the same place I started. :(
