Here's the first part of my model collection. Four photos, price, and manufacterer will be included, as well as a brief review of the product. Each one will be given a score out of ten, corresponding to the overall value of the car. Hence, a 10 scored Maisto would be lesser than a 10 Kyosho.

1999 Panoz AIV Roadster
AutoArt
$50-$65
9/10

Pros
-Accurate
-Excellent detail
-Flocked
-Excellent build quality
Cons
-Hood hinge bends over time
(I bought this model in NYC a few years ago, and within the month the hood hinge became damaged to the point where the hood would nearly fall off. The retailer was kind enough to replace it free of charge, thankfully, and similar problems have arose, albeit less severe. A simple design flaw)

They don't go anywhere on the actual car, so that is accurate.

Nice collection. Much better than my collection(all budget-priced(under $30) models except my HW Racing #2 Ferrari F2004(which is great but is too much like AUTOart Motorsport). For the Esprit, you should've gotten one of the ones that were in the James Bond movies. On the Panoz AIV Roadster, how was the hinge for the hood damaged? I was just about to buy one in China(rare chance, considering they aren't really sold in China) for just under $50, but thought I could find a better deal here in US.

Nah, I prefer my Lotus' in yellow. :D

I've seen Panoz AIVs going for $45, albeit rare, in the states, but that's the cheapest it will get.
The hinge mechanism that AutoArt design isn't very good, so it just kind of deteriorates each time you use it. Just be careful with it and you can slow this deterioration dramatically. :)

Really? I wondered about that myself, but seeing as vents near the front of the car were rather sparse, I concluded that the vents in the front, at least, were real.

So whats the point of AUTOart Motorsport if they were meant to be cheaper, but now just cost the same or a little(just a few bucks) cheaper

The only problem I have with AutoArt models is with some models the doors don't stay open

AutoArt Motorsports division was designed to have supercars that didn't open, and hence they could be sold at much lower prices. Distributors realized, however, the demand for such models and they quickly jacked prices.
