When I was checking in on my car today at the body shop, I managed to grab a few photos of a neighbouring beauty: A rare AC Ace Bristol Coupe... this car received a full restoration, is completely mint, and gorgeous. :)

wow! i want to see one of those, i read about this car in a very old sports car book from the 1960s. i think the Cobra gets its looks from its fathers side of the family :D
nice pictures too.

Thanks for the pics, the Ace is one of the all time British greats, although the Bristol engine (nice exhausts) is based on the BMW 328 engine.

Actually this car is fitted with the original AC engine (also 2 litre inline 6) and not the Bristol engine.

Welcome, looking forward to see pictures of the car (in your name:)) (Delivered July 4th, 1957 to Jarrard in the USA, original colour: black)

And you are absolutely right, the car in the 2004 has the original Weller engine.

An article on the ACE is in the shortlist for putting up on the main page here.
