Here is one with the stripes and black.
well that is what i was looking for (stripes on hood and rear only) but they are way too thick for my taste

im looking forward to whiteballz' second attempt:)

sorry wert, i couldnt get the black as well as earler, and the stripes are smoother, but still slightly off.

i will try again later on.

Nice but the 67-69 camaro will never be matched in looks again. That car is just amazing!

Helpful hint!!!

Whiteballz! Go to: image/adjustment/channel mixer
Then check the box for mono chrome Then slide the constant bar to the left to about -40 or to you likeing. Then if you want to add a little color tint like blue or red ect... uncheck the box for mono chrome then use the slide bars at the top.

i use:
image/adjust/variations

midtones
semi-course
darker

its the best way to make things black or white.

the only reason i couldnt get it as well as before is i forgot what opacity i "overlayed" the 2nd layer

Whiteballz, how do you change the color of a car on Photoshop. Is there like a exract color and then fill way to do it?:(

there are a few ways to change colour. most popular is to select the body closely, then just alter the hue/saturation.

but when i do i generaly make the selection around the body of the car, then copy paste into a new layer, then edit that layer and overlay it to get a pearlescent colour.

Uhhh, i think i understand. Ill try. So you make a new layer, select the mode as hue, and color over it?

get your select tool, select the body of the car, not the windows, wheels, lights or otherwise. then just alter the hue and saturation.

Make sure you select the 'colorize' check box in the Hue/Saturation window.
