What an unfortunate waste of an opportunity. It was awful, the woman who was interviewing him quite clearly didn't have a clue about Formula 1!

I asked Bernie what he thought about the lack of voluntary use of HANS devices in disciplines in which it isn't mandated and the answer I got was, 'I don't know'!

The Watkins Lecture is a safety lecture held at the Autosport Show each year. It's named after Sid Watkins. This year it was hosted by Bernie Ecclestone.
