I already have that video. The sound of it is absolutely sensational.
Marc Duez was always a RWD expert. I remember him coming to 1989 Portugal Rali with a Prodrive E30 M3. It reached 5th place against all 4wd WRC cars and on a mud rally! Fantastic performance and amazing to watch.

Anyone else notice his shift light messed up once he hit the gravel? lol I started getting confused, also I wonder if he has a muffler anymore? lol

If it was supposed to be a shift light it was messed up from the start line !!!
It's possible it was oil pressure warning light and he was borderline.
Was getting quite solid under braking and severe cornering which may suggest oil pickup issues.
Did he complete the rally ?

Perfect example of why rear engine is not ideal on snow ...... BUT THE BEST FUN/CHALLENGE going :D

My god, that sounds fantastic. It's weird to see a rally car moving that quickly though corners withou it going Whiz! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! Whiz! BANG! BANG!

Yea that guys pretty crazy, and if that was the oil pressure thats scary lol. That's like a readout on a rotary engine. I don't know, sometimes it was working right on tarmac, and then when he hit the gravel ( even when he was hitting low revs ) it was like blink blink blink blink blink. Crazy stuff, that guys is mad with rwd.

Found a lot on tarmac rally stages now to ensure the average speed for the stage meets the FIA limits.
Ruined some of the best stages in the world IMHO :(
But necessary for safety.
