Actually, they just guesstimated on the HP. It's now an official 485hp with a top speed of 196 mph. Everything else stays the same though. I think we should pit this against a Lambo Gallardo.

I'll stick with the Z06 on this one, from the spy shots i didnt like the 997Turbo as much as the 996, and I absolutely loved the styling of the last one.

Funny considering i must have a mind blank when it comes to the 994 turbo, Ie i don't remember it.

but yeah, it's another Porsche Turbo, sort of an annual event really.

Porsche was always going to take a few years to get the Water Cooled 911 right.

Hopefully they have. although my feeling with the Retro styling of the 997 is that it was a mistake.

This should be a great car to challenge the Gallardo and F430. The car that I really can't wait for is the GT2. That should be a real show stopper.

well 911 turbos have always been a bit heavier considering the leather and all. but the GT2 can solve that

plus the turbos have AWD and the GT2 doesn't so that would save a bit of weight :)

the new turbo is 10kg lighter than the 996, and i wouldn't hold your breath. The article i just read (in MOTOR) has said that the GT2 is no more
