If the title has you scratching your head in aww, what im basically talking about is signatures like "UCP's most hardcore lightweight class fan" that Egg Nog has given himself and IB4R with "UCP's #1 kei class fan". i think these are a great idea to spread around to those who don't know your general attitude about cars and just something for show for those who are really dedicated like Egg Nog. I've been thinking of some possibilities for my own but can't come up with anything.....

i dread the day though when someone comes up with "UCP's biggest ricer" or "UCP's biggest suburban SUV fan"

As the original creator of this style of sig ;), I had absolutely no idea that it would go this far. I'm pretty amazed by how many users are doing this now... rock on guys!

(UCP's) (Adj) (Subject) (Fan/Entusiast/etc.) :D

well i think the award for UCP's biggest SUV user can go to crisis. he, unlike alot of people, is a proud owner of an 80 series landcruiser and i believe regularly takes it offroad.

I think this is all of them so far:

Me, foo ;): UCP's Most Hardcore Lightweight Sports Car Enthusiast

Spastik_Roach: UCP's Most Hardcore Boring Family Sedan Fan.

IBrake4Rainbows: UCP's most hardcore Kei Class Fan.(C) Egg Nog 2003.

Suka: Second most Hardcore Lightweight Sports Car Enthusiast!
(and) UCP's biggest Kit Car Nut!

Batmobile_Turbo: UCPs most hardcore VW fan

lol, hmmm, whats something i could take, maybe UCP's biggest OZ heavyweight sedan Fan....?

i think there will be more lightweight fans making their preferences made public in the near future though

My sig is a kind of tribute to Egg Nog because he gave me my first rep point so i called myself UCP second most hardcore lightweight sports car Enthusiast! ;)

ive had the idea for a while, that why dont we, or at least the moderators, award certain members special titles, such as Egg Nog's UCP's most hardcore sports car enthusiast and all the rest Egg Nog listed below. i know from my experience, its alot easier to be told by others what type of car fan you are then to try and proclaim it yourself, i guess.......unless its bleedingly obvious

if theres any benefit to all of this, i know at times theres been new members come to the site and asked for help on something. whilst ive had to do it once or twice, ive also refered them to others on occasion, like when someone asked me what would be a good car for taking to a road rally i directed them to Matra et Alpine and Falcon500.....giving people these titles could assist in this process

If we could have a "search members interests" option and remind everyone to put their interests and 'speciality' in thier interests then we could easily go part of the way to providing what fpv suggests.
Good idea.

well with the members that know each other, the benefits would be small, like im sure Egg Nog knows of Matra's interest in classic rally cars etc and vice versa with Egg Nog's interest in lightweight cars, and people like crisis probably know of NoOnes passion for Hemi muscle cars and again, vice versa for crisis' interest in using SUV's for their intended purpose

the benefits would come for new members as i said before, seeking help

plus i reckon if certain people had something along the lines of what Egg Nog and Suka have would look pretty neat

I just hope i'm not turning this great sig of Egg Nog's into a cliche. I'm gunna take this opportunity to say this is the most friendly forum i've ever been on. Its pretty much totally free of "my supra ffity turbo bet a mclaranf1" sorta people and hopefully it always will be

if any moderators would like to change my sig to whatever that would be cool, Egg Nog? i think it would be a fun suprise :)
