Phillip Island Historic race day with in excess of 200 cars ranging from years 1912 to 1988 with everything from classic british to american muscle to jap sports cars.

Nephews might be racing there this year in Dec for the Island Magic Festival, the track looks awesome. Wished i was there for the historics:( , people can check out the times at Natsoft. Noticed peter hall in the 260z(class Sb&Sc) did ok for the weekend, that car absolutely hauls. He would of won all 3 races if the straight was shorter:p

Phone line only allows 28k max:( We have pair gain in the whole area cause it's all under ground, And cable is here but only in the first unit.
But at the moment it's a real shitty connection that sometimes wont connect for me.
I think i might give them a call cause i really believe it's a waste to have something this bad and pay for it. I even tried ADSL but because of the pair gain phone lines it wont work. It's not fare:(

to give you an idea of how awesomely perfect this trip was, even on my flight down i was sitting between two guys who run an import tuning shop and make custom GT40 parts.

oh and i win longest distance award again. something like 1700km's each way :D:D

You could do what i did with my brother camera, View the pic in paint.
Click crtl W. then just make it smaller save as JPG with new name bingo:D.
I done that with some of my Car pics, 900kb down to 55kb easy for me to upload then:)
Like this one make it as small as you want but it's still good to view. It's under half the originals size now.

Of course, it is actually Rod Jolley's Lister-Jaguar (Ford??) Monza, a special built for the 1958 USA-Europe race held at Monza. Here are two pics of the car, one taken last year at Silverstone, and one in 1989, when the car was still owned by somebody in Germany. Apparently another forum member was already showing keen interest in the car back then.

So it's like a 4 seater:D.
He would have had a ball in my car, When i drove the VB the seat was all the way back, Got into the VP and OMG i couldn't find the peddles or the steering had to move 2 foot forward, And i still inch closer from time to time. They made VP's for 7 foot people shorter guys then bluey:D.

The Gallardos are really small - atleast for a modern car that is ment to be able to be used as a daily driver - I have no chance of fitting, but in the Merchie I'm fine. I do also have the seat a notch forward of Blue, and the seat back more upright.

yeah i had the VN after her, it had masses of space:) pity it felt like a milk float and got crap fuel efficiency :D damn reliable though, 285,000 km;s without fault

Thats not bad mine is clocking 300,000 and still revs hard and strong. But is shit on petrol:(.
I really should have took you guys for a spin and show you how the VP was better slightly with handling and grip. Till you drop back to 1st:p
I got some top hot dry weather tyres on myn half slicks they are super sticky,
Once i tried to do a doughnut round and round i went i left a big mark but got dizzy as the car wouldn't get sideways so i stopped:D
