The Rules:

GT4 Challenge 2.10 will start on Wednesday 15th February 2006.
GT4 Challenge 2.10 will end on Sunday 19th February 2006 at midnight in your respective areas. All times must be submitted by this deadline.

All times submitted must be from Arcade Mode.
The winner of the previous comp. will choose the car, track, tyres, aids of the new comp, and also the date for entry submissions.
All future comps will allow unlimited Quicktuning and softest tires in Arcade mode.

You will PM your best time to RazaBlade.
You MUST PM your time to me if you wish for it to be included.

The one with the fastest time will be the winner.
If you have a time that you think will win, take a picture as proof. If you win you will have to present this photo as proof.
If the time submitted by someone is unreallistically fast it will be excluded.
If I find out that any time is false, goes against any rules, or is done through any use of unfair play or cheatery, the user will be banned from the competition for one week and will be stripped of all their points.

Scoring goes like this:
1st place receives 10 points.
2nd place get 8.
3rd gets 6.
4th gets 4
5nd gets 2.
Everybody else who submits a time receives 1 point.
There will be a secret time that, under the rules, should be easy to obtain. This will be called the target time. If you meet the target time you will receive an additional 1 point.

The target time this week, as set by shockwaveracing, was 1'20.750.

Congrats dude, well done again. Last race of the Season people!!!

Just on a side note.... Id like you to pay particular attention to lordofDskylines time of 1'20.461, and then click my first attached photo.... at one time I had 1'20.462!!! Freaky or what!! Times within 1/1-thousandth of each other! Cool!

And for all those who are quick to point fingers, my actual times photo is also attached....

Just on a side note, good to see a lot of new names being added regularly. The more contestants we get, the better the competition, and the more fun the Challenge. However, I just like to say to all new contestants, please please please read the rules carefully through at least once, to familiarise yourself with the process. Also, dont be scared to ask questions on the forum, we're quite a nice bunch! This will help prevent any sad cases of missed deadlines/breached rules. Thanks guys, and best of luck!!!!

You just have to PM me your fastest time before the deadline. Be sure not to post it in the thread!

Each 'season' lasts for 10 races, and this is to clean the slate and start fresh after a while. Dont worry, as long as we have entries, hopefully the Challenge will continue!!

I prefer pacier cars, at least it keeps the lap entertaining. If it takes you a minute to get half way, and you make a mistake, its a bit of a drag. Really liked the Ruf, nice responsive engine.

when will we get the new course...?

RazaBlade
02-14-2006, 12:09 AM
The next Challenge starts on Wednesday, so the previous winner has until then to post the next Challenge parameters. This allows them time to sort and test everything before hand, but also provides lee-way when life happens!

Quite a nice combo shockwave.... should make for some good racing!

shockwaveracing
02-15-2006, 04:47 AM
hell yeah, i was going to do something with the Viper SRT-10 @the High Speed Ring, but it looked a bit boring... and most people should have the C5-R so without any testing i just went for Le Sarthe coz it is a great track... i hope everyone enjoys the last challenge of the season... :)

RazaBlade
02-15-2006, 04:48 AM
I had to buy it!

Set around 3.30 mark so far.... car brakes quite well.

shockwaveracing

RazaBlade
02-15-2006, 06:48 AM
Oh... i didnt mean put that as the target time! I was just saying thats how quick Ive gone so far. Its the winners prerogative to set the target time!!

RazaBlade
02-15-2006, 06:50 AM
Also, as youve got that replay video thingy.... any chance we could get a video of the lap too? Sarthe is one of those tracks I just dont get the proper hang of, would be good to see a drive through!! Thanks dude

shockwaveracing
02-15-2006, 07:01 AM
do you have a maxdrive? if so is it PAL or NTSC? if it is PAL i can send you the replay straight away, otherwise it will take me a day or so to make a video of a lap around Le Sarthe.

RazaBlade
02-15-2006, 07:15 AM
No i dont.... sorry. Its cool, no rush, but its always nice to see how others tackle a track, esp when theyre faster than you!

RazaBlade
02-15-2006, 03:33 PM
Sorry I keep reiterating the same message, but there seems to be a new influx of drivers! Ive got no problem answering your questions, but to help yourselves a bit, read over the rules. Hopefully they make sense, and if not, point it out, and we'll modify them!!! Plus doing it that way will help you be more prepared for the next ones.......
