ERRR.....generally speaking Subaru don't ussually fall in the luxury 4x4 market.....except the Forrester maybe...but that too is mostly a farm implement....& not a luxury cruiser per say....

the germans where too scared the japanese would beat their precious audi.just because it has 4wd and can go on snow in wrc spec, doesnt make it the best thing since sliced bread off-road, in fact i reckon it probably would have got stuck and beached very quickly, secondly, they all seem as though there not pushing the other cars very hard! i wonder what a Range Rover would have done...
