2006 Canadian Int'l Autoshow

Well, here are my photos from the 2006 Canadian Int'l Autoshow on opening day. It was a really good show, surprisingly not very busy either. My pictures aren't that good, I was using a film SLR from my school, but I got it the day of pretty much and I don't really know SLRs very well so I was just sorta wingin' it. (no prior experience with 'em)

Sorry that's all I've got, one crappy pic... What I really needed was a good couple of days of practice with that camera, and a tripod for some of the shots would've helped too. Oh well, it's been fun experimenting with the SLR... definitely a lot more fun than point and shoot.

Pfaff-tuned 911 GT2. I talked to the guy for a good 15-20 minutes, apparently the car has been completely done-up, essentially everything has been modified/changed. Puts out anywhere from 650-750 bhp (depending on turbo set-up) I must say it was one hell of a car, this display had nicer Porsches than Porsche themselves.

2006 Wrap-up:
Excellent show, Toronto gets better and better every year (although it could've benefitted from the Carrera GT) Lots of great cars otherwise, and many of them they allow you to sit in. Highlight was the Porsche 911. I highly recommend a visit to whoever is able to attend, it's worth the cost.

Yeah poor Aston got the shaft, their display deserves to be in the middle of the north building on a podium proclaiming their superiority.

great pics. you really know how to take good photos. i also try to get the front and side view in one shot. did u scan these photos? the colours dont look like they were taken from a digital camera.

They were taken with a Pentax MZ-6, film SLR, and I got one of those picture CDs with development.

so far I've been pretty impressed by what I've seen. Despite my lore issues, I'm pretty happy with the feeling of the quests, both the background and the unique mechanics. The

Hyjal jousting makes me nostalgic for the old days of the Argent Tournament. The only bright spot there is that it's over in three quests instead of being a daily thing.Beyond
