Does it just look blurry because the whole picture is bad quality? Did you ever use the blur tool when you were chopping this?

When i save the picture as a JPEG the picture quality goes stright away.

i have the same sort of problem when saving as a jpeg, what type are the pictures before you jpeg them? mine don't come out the same quality as yours though.
you could try the print screen button.

here is mine, i had to resize it for it to fit on a page though, i think this is one of my best chops ever. i also added new tires AND wheel rims.

WHat are you using ?
The prblem is the jpeg comression ratio.
The more compression the more artifacts you'll get and the worse the quality of the picture.
You need to find the jpeg options and adjust them accordingly.
If you let me know what app I can probably walk you through the optimal settings.

can you adjust this in paint/windows somehow?

can you adjust this in paint/windows somehow?Hmmm, how brave are you ?

There may be a utility if you search the web :)

MSPaint uses the common microsoft graphics filters to export images.
These are in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Grphflt
JPEGIM32.FLT is the jpeg import/export filter.

The jpeg filter is controlled by the registry item HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Graphics Filters\Export\JPEG

The compression value is defined there.
IIRC the value range is based on the original Apple range 1-4.
JPEG is a funny format in that no one agreed how to define the compression levels.
So some go from 0-100, others go from 100-0, Apple changed from 0-50 to 0-100 but 50 is equivalent to 80 ! It's crazy we let it get in the mess it is.

Try playing with the compression value.
If you're unsure of editing registry, then DONT.
And sorry, it's not something I'd like to assist remotely :)
Remember in the worst case you can stop the PC working :(

A search may turn up a freeware hack for this.
Good luck.

PS: Isn't it easier to d/l PaintShop ? There are lots of version 6 and 7 available free or for a few dollars :)
