These are my drawings, i like to design my own cars.
The first one is a bus (because i was bored) and the second is a sports car obviously. The scans are from my school organiser so sorry about the lines.

OK, this is gonna take a while, but I'm going to scan some of my drawings. I haven't got a scanner on my compu, but my dad has, so I'll take a look if that works, cause his pc seems to have problems everyday.... you know, windows ME, that's what he uses...

ZerK

These are the only decent ones I got on my 'puter currently. The off-roader is my MG XT V8 design, and the deformed, smudged tangle of lines is trying to be (part of) a Fiat Barchetta. Honest.

IL Duce

OK, I've got here two drawings out of my collection... take a look at them, and let me know what ye think about it ;)

IL Duce

And another.
It sure is one hell of a lot work to get them on PC when you haven't got a scanner yourself...

For Christmas my mom got me The Cheat and Strong Bad static clings, and they're in the back windows of the VW. People at school are always asking me "What the hell is that little yellow thing? A cat?"

That is an excellent Ferrari sketch.
Do you do free-hand or use any guides ?
Impressive skill.
Fancy trying your hand doing an Alpine A610 ? I've an empty space on my wall and a nice sketch would fill it nicely :)

Your ones are cool as well Coventrysucks/Peter Wells. I see you don't draw them just for fun, you're gonna do somthing with the talent... you just got to

ZerK

Here's one I did today... I'm still thinking about name and stuff... and where to put the engine... maybe a transversely mounted in-line 6 just behind the cab using up as little of the load space as possibe... or stuff the covered load space and stick a V12 in :D

kko

:) Thank you!

I am studying desing at the moment, but I am still unsure as to whether I will go into automotive, or boat design professionally.

Being paid to draw cars all day would be fun, but there are 140 people in my year alone, let alone all the other design schools around the world, and there aren't that many jobs

Keep up the good work everyone

Right i am gonna draw another car and dedicate it to you guys, it'll be from my normal side on view, any styling requests?
(this is my version of a photoshop comp since i dont have it, or paint)

kko

design the most beautiful car ever :p

Suka

Ok i have a better idea. Someone like Coventrysucks posts a pic of a car from the side on view and people have to print it out trace it onto another piece of paper and mod it. It could be the photoshop comp for people without photoshop.

Can I use my crayons ?
The doctor doesn't let me have pointy pencils :(

I think it sounds a great idea.

But why profile, a 3d view would challenge shading skills.
( Mind you it's REAL hard to draw a good 3d car, kudos to those I've seen here, some are great )

Sorry, I've been busy. :(

Anyway You can choose between an original sketch, or the tidyer version for the profile, or there are a couple of 3d views there aswell :)

good luck everyone

I don't have any car drawing, I'm really bad at drawing. But I have this one that my girlfriend made me....

Matra et Alpine

Same as Niko, my own attempts are very poor.

This is a painting a friend agreed to take as a commision.
It was originally for an oil painting of the Alpine out side my brothers place.
The photos were spectacular with the Georgian windows reflecting on the body.
The story is I never got the oil painting. She kept saying she was progressing but after a couple of months admitted that she just could NOT get the right feel in oils and had destroyed 2 canvases she was unhappy with - it was driving her crazy trying to get the specular lighting right :(.
I got her water-colour sample for free :)
Here it is - it has pride of place in my study :) :) :)
