Aston have been testing a Sports Dynamic Pack for the DB9 to improve performance and handling. This consists of new wheels, dampers, bushes, and even titanium hubs. All of these parts will be able to be retrofitted to existing DB9s and there is speculation that they will form part of the upgrades for the new DBS.

Quotes from a driver training day (posted on the AMOC forum buy DBG) at Resort Ascari, where it had Vanquish Ss AMV8s and 911s for company

This was surprising mind-blower of the track day

This is THE CAR if you’re into fast lapping. Aston has made a major effort to reduce unsprung weight (right down to making the wheel lugs out of titanium) and it is palpably better/different within the first 100 feet. You can really feel the wheels following the contours of the road in a way you can’t in any of the other cars

I'd buy one for sure :D But I'd get some nice Pirelli PZero's instead of the Potenza's

Oh god, what ugly wheels. They absolutely do not fit the DB9.

man ppl on this thread all think alike, totally ///M6 and they're not bad, but the car doesn't look agressive enough for them, it needs to look more like a beast to carry around those claws

The DBS will look like this:

The geniuses at Corgi has already developed the toy version along side Astons development and previewed their new toy at a toy fair, not realising Aston had not yet previewed the real thing :D

You (and others too) are missing the point. Astons Martins shouldn't look agressive and cheap. An Aston is a gentleman's car, even if that man wants to drive fast.

Precisely. It's like putting a huge spolier and nos stickers on a Jaguar E-Type. We can only hope that Aston do not follow the same route as Ferrari and, IMO, completley make a dogs dinner of their designs.

A "normal" DB9 is more sexy than this. Those silly wheels do not fit in this ca. Not classy at all.

id take it anyways....

Is there any body changes? I know about the weight reduction. But no new fenders?
