It's been done, I think. Most of the people chose the Toyota 2000 GT.

I saw a stock (except for exhaust) R34 GTR V-Spec in Blue yesterday, it was damn good looking

Originally I would've said 2000GT, followed by the FD RX-7. I've seen a mint 2000GT in the flesh though, and it actually wasn't quite what I thought it would be. Still beautiful for sure though.

So my vote has changed to the FD.

The new Lexus IS!!! (No bias whatsoever of course :p)

Other than that, the DC5 Honda Integra Type R comes close, as does the NSX

there's one in canberra, the guy who owns it works in South Canberra somewhere and I see it on the road all the time. And he always gives it the boot, taking corners seriously quick and it just goes around on rails

I'd say Tommykaira ZZII, it's beauty and beast. :D

Second would be NSX-R, and third goes to RX-7 Spirit-R.

There are so many beautiful Japanese cars but I believe the most beautiful Japanese cars are -:

1. - Mazda FD RX-7
2. - Honda NSX
3. - Most Subaru WRX's

P.S... My mother's 1983 Honda Civic has its own beauty and charm. :D

Either Tommy Kaira ZZII or the classic lines of the 71' GT-R or 2000GT.

I second that...unbiased of course :D

Also, NSX, Legend (especially Coupe), 240 SX, among a few others are the most beautiful .

I'm also sorry to say, there's a car in your display pic, what's it's name again?

By the 1960s the japs were pumping out some very pretty cars

Suprised no one mentioned 1969 240Z a style knockout when released, still looks great today. As does petite '65 Nissan Silvia (japan's 1st 100mph car) Mazda 1500/1800 sedans (via Bertone) & related Mazda Luce Rotary coupe (FWD). Other neat ones imo include timeless Datsun 510/Laurel and the amazingly engineered Honda 1300 coupe (sharknose) and many more little-known jappas

I was thinking more current cars.

The 2000GT, the first Celica Supra, the mkIV (Corona) Celica, Datsun 510, and Honda S800 are among the finest older shapes around regardless of origin.

NSXType-R

I'd go for the NSX too (again, bias :D). I like all Hondas and the new RL/Legend looks good too.

I'm definately going to have to go with the R34 GTR VSPEC-II

I guess that's why I drive the poor man's SE-R Spec V!

Beautiful car though, huh? I mean, its conservative but definately looks like it will EAT YOU for breakfast.

The understated style of the japanese car- something that even the germans are catching on to!
