More driving fun by extra power: HAMANN offers engine tuning for all versions of the new MINI. The MINI One D, whose 1.4 liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine normally delivers 75 hp / 55 kW, is tuned to 90 hp / 66 kW and 216 Nm of maximum torque by the HAMANN engine technicians. The road performances are improved accordingly: The tuned Diesel-powered MINI accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h in 13.0 seconds instead in 13.8 seconds, maximum speed is increased from standard 165 km/h to 170 km/h.

The normally 90 hp / 66 kW strong 1.6 litre four-cylinder gasoline engine of the MINI One can be powered up to 120 hp / 88 kW with the HAMANN tuning kit. The performance kit for the MINI Cooper increases maximum power from standard 115 hp / 85 kW to 128 hp / 94 kW.

The range of the HAMANN engine department for the MINI Cooper S starts with the HAMANN CS1 tuning kit which increases the maximum power from standard 163 hp / 120 kW to 195 hp / 144 kW at 6,100 rpm.

The HAMANN CS4 SPORTKIT is the maximum power stage for this car. The conversion contains a sport air filter, a modified transmission-ratio for the supercharger and a complete high performance exhaust system with special manifold, metal-bed catalysator, a front silencer and a rear silencer. All components get perfectly coordinated with a modified ECU.

The success of these modifications can be read on the impressive performance data: With HAMANN CS4 SPORTKIT the 1.6 litre four-cylinder supercharger engine delivers 211 hp / 155 kW and generates 255 Nm of maximum torque. The road performances are improved accordingly. The sprint from 0 - 100 km/h is handled in 6.6 seconds only. Maximum speed is 229 km/h.

Sporty sound and improved performance are the most important characteristics of the HAMANN sport rear silencer which are offered for all MINI models. Depending on the motorization the HAMANN exhaust systems are available in different versions with two or four exhaust tips.

HAMANN offers extra driving fun with a height-adjustable coil-over suspension which is available for all current MINI versions. The stiffer set-up sport chassis lowers the small car by up to 50 millimeters front and 30 millimeters on the rear axle. The progressive springs and the stiffer shock absorbers of the HAMANN coil-over suspension make the handling even more sporty.

Exclusive look and further improved driving dynamics are the forte of the HAMANN 18-inch wheel/tire combinations which are available for all new MINI models. The multi-piece HAMANN PG4 8Jx18 five-spoke wheels with polished outside well perfectly fill the wheel houses with 225/35 ZR 18 tires all around. The HAMANN program for the MINI is now completed with the one-piece HAMANN ANNIVERSARY I wheel. The multi-spoke rim is available in 8Jx18 size and is furnished with a polished stainless steel protection lip which can be exchanged after a contact with the curbstone.

Alternatively there are available HAMANN HM4 8Jx17 wheels in modern multi-piece look.



HAMANN also gives the look of the MINI a special exciting touch: The HAMANN front apron, which replaces the standard bumper, is available for all models and gives the runabout a more striking face. Also new in the program is the HAMANN radiator mask with two large air intakes. This accessory part can be alternatively fitted with the HAMANN front apron or with the standard bumper.

Alternatively HAMANN offers a front spoiler edge to fit on the standard apron for all MINI One and Cooper models.

For the Cooper S there is offered the HAMANN front spoiler. This aerodynamic component is fitted on the standard bumper and reduces the lift on the front axle at high speed. The HAMANN diffuser is fixed below the rear apron.

HAMANN also offers a roof wing to upgrade the back of all MINI models. On the Cooper S it replaces the standard roof spoiler.

HAMANN refines the cockpit of the MINI with an ergonomically shaped airbag-sport-steering-wheel and floor mats with HAMANN logo. Carbon applications for the dashboard and the door panels and sporty aluminium parts such as pedals, footrest and gearshift-lever knob set sporty directions. On demand HAMANN also manufactures exclusive full leather trims in any desired color shade.

The MINI is a genuine city sprinter that offers you lifestyle at its purest. HAMANN MOTORSPORT from Laupheim, Germany, has a comprehensive tuning and accessories program for all MINI models, developed by One D, One, Cooper or Cooper S which makes the Mini becoming THE racy midget among all other cars.

More performance means more driving pleasure, without question. So the HAMANN engineers developed a balanced performance boost for each MINI model. The result for the 1.4 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine of the MINI One is an impressive 90 hp and 216 Nm maximum torque. This boost of around 25 hp more than the showroom model allow the HAMANN-Mini to sprint from 0 to over 60 mph (around 100 km/h) in only 13 seconds, and top speed is bumped up to an impressive pace of over 105 mph (170 km/h). For the 1.6 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine, HAMANN has an even more effective performance boost to offer. Comprehensive modifications provide 120 horsepower, instead of the stock 90 hp under the hood.

MINI Cooper owners can also look forward to a HAMANN motor kit that boosts performance a full 128 hp compared to the 115 hp standard equipment.

And HAMANN’s engineers have gone and developed two motor kits for the MINI Cooper S. This includes the so-called CS1 performance increase, boosting performance from 32 hp to 195 hp at 6,100 RPMs. The top-of-the-line HAMANN CS4 SPORTKIT comprises a sport air filter, an altered conversion for the mechanical compressor and a complete high-performance
exhaust system with header system, metal catalytic converter and front and rear silencers. All components are precisely calibrated with one another using modified motor electronics.

All of this together ensures the corresponding ‘Uh-oh!’ effect. The HAMANN modified 1.6 liter
four-cylinder compressor motor provides an impressive 211 hp and maximum torque of 255 Nm. Of course, this also has a positive effect on the driving performance. The HAMANN MINI Cooper S only needs 6.6 seconds to sprint from 0 to over 60 mph (100 km/h), and top speed is boosted up to over 142 mph (229 km/h).

The increased performance is created by, among other things, the HAMANN sport rear silencers, which are available in different versions with two or four tailpipes depending upon the motor. And the prime beneficiary of the sport rear silencers is the sound, which thanks to the HAMANN technology, gives the MINIs a fat, sonorous voice.

In order to also transfer the performance at its best to the street, a height-adjustable coilover suspension was built for all current MINI models. This sporty, calibrated suspension with its special alignment of the progressive springs to the shocks allows pure driving pleasure. The MINI reacts with noticeably more precise steering, and sits on the asphalt like it’s on rails.

Additionally, the HAMANN coilover suspension lowers the front axle by up to 50 millimeters and the rear axle by 30 millimeters.

Corresponding with the motor modifications, the HAMANN designers have also created comprehensive aerodynamic components for all MINI models, such as a broad front apron which completely replaces the stock bumper and gives this small Brit a powerful appearance. And the HAMANN rear spoiler guarantees sporty optics.

HAMANN has created a front spoiler lip for easy mounting onto the showroom front for the MINI One and the Cooper.

For the MINI Cooper S, the HAMANN front spoiler was conceived so that it can easily be attached under the stock bumper. It reduces the lift on the front axle at higher speeds. At the rear of the Cooper S, the HAMANN diffuser assures a powerful, sporty rear view.

Premium light metal rims in a dynamic design are a matter of honor, and they are equally included in the extensive HAMANN range for the MINI; for instance, the multi-part HAMANN
PG4 five spoke wheels with a polished external base in 8x18” with 225/35 ZR 18 tires. Or the
one-piece HAMANN ANNIVERSARY I light metal rims in a multi-spoke design. This rim, with polished stainless steel impact protection, which can be replaced in the event of curb contact, is available in 8x18” from HAMANN. One size smaller but at least as attractive is the
HAMANN HM4 in 8x17”, with its multi-piece look.

And in the interior, the MINI makes a big impression with the HAMANN accessories. Ergonomically-shaped sport airbag steering wheel, carbon applications for the dashboard and door interiors, as well as sporty aluminum parts like the pedals, foot supports and gear shift guarantee an exclusive motor sport feeling. As a special highlight, HAMANN offers a luxurious complete leather interior in every color desired. This applies in particular for the sport seats, which are also available without the fine leather covering. The final touch is in the form of the foot mats featuring the HAMANN logo, illuminated upon request.
