I happen to think they are ALL 3dsmax renders and stuck together in Photoshop, you can see the quality of a render here. (http://www.perfection2pixels.com/renders/caterhampressy.jpg) Some amazing stuff, just Google 3ds max renders.

I've seen far more realistic renders. People make the cars waaay too shiney nowadays and use a really detailed reflection map to make the car look realistic when actually you rarely get hugely detailed reflections in real life. If I come across one of these rather nifty renders, I'll post it :)

what the hell is the point of doing this...spending countless days on a computer doing somethuing that would take minutes to walk out, take a photograph, and walk back in load on the computer
