This morning I awoke to a silver package dropping through my post/mail box!

What was it I thought...well it said Audi so I thought ooo a key to a new Audi A8 LWB:D (ok i was dreaming).

Anyway inside was what appeared to be a ring box, so I thought ooo havent Audi pushed the boat out, I opened it to find......A NUT

A BLOODY NUT!!:D

Now that is what I call a genious advertising campaign...most people are likely to tell other people about it and then get people interested in the 'Audi A4 Carbriolet' it is advertising.

Its kinda like Bells wiskey, who sent out hundreds of pieces of old wiskey barrels, to advertise their latest brew...mmm

i bet 1 in every 5,000 recipients actually proceed to buy the car, so theyre actually probably losing money.

Yeah but to what effect; I want to buy a $40,000.00 Audi because they gave someone a free nut in a ring box.

I once got an invitation for a testdrive of the new Q7 a while ago. Too bad I couldnt go tho. I wonder why they sent it because I am only 23 and I am not in the market for that. Altho I have an audi but it's 15 years old so..

Btw Vaigra nice avatar. I saw the new RS4 for the first time on the road today.

Glad you like it quattro_20v :)
I'm trying to arrange some sort of drive in one..somehow, be it at the dealers or the one owned by the company where I work. Only problem is that the company one is never around as we've got lots of sites all over the UK and it's constantly on the road and in demand :(
