nice stuff, not the most difficult of kits.:)
Have you tried any of the 1/24 Tamiya plastic kits?

The 1:24 Enzo is a kit I did... the first one I'd done in QUITE a while, and the last one I did too... With the baby hanging out all the time, I don't have much time for them now...

Well, there are two more Enzos to build...
Plus the Modenas which are actually quite nice kits...

I got the 1:18 wall-mounted cases from Carney Plastics, they have all kinds of cases... great case, great service, reasonable shipping... http://www.carneyplastics.com/

I got the 1:12 display cases from Autoart... http://www.aa-collection.com/cgi-bin/autoartshopping/scan/fi=products/st=db/sp=results_accessory/co=1/sf=prod_group/se=accessory/op=rm/nu=0/ml=5/tf=sku/to=x.html?id=55jYwiCB

Wow, nice Enzo! I've seen it on the Tamiya website. How much did you pay for that? The same 1:12 scale Carrera GT die cast edition cost around $200 American.

Thanks for all the kind words guys...

Gtek-i: I haven't seen it in person, but it looks pretty impressive, I passed on it, as I'm low on space for something that big. I do have the lego 1:10 F1 car though (as a solution to the space issue, I mounted it on the wall... along with the 1:24 scale lego F1 car.) Lemme see if I can dig up a pic...

EDIT: found the pic... Also, my other two 1:18 scale wall cases should be here today. Once I get them put up and filled I'll post pics of my complete 1:18th Ferrari collection (it's gotten pretty big)

Quick question- The F40 has normal headlights but there seems to be flip up ones too directly above it. Does it actually flip out or is it just for looks?

I didn't even think about it when taking the pics... yes, they do flip up, and are all "done" just like the real car... if I get time tonight I'll try and snap a couple of pics with the lights up...

I was wondering more about the road car than the model but I guess there really isn't much of a difference, considering the amount of detail in these wonderful models? ;)

The model, just like the road car, has the clear, visible lights as well as the functional pop-up lights...

Found one with the lights up (this one has yellow tint on it. In stock form, they are clear)

the normal one exists in 1/16, but you have to build it.....(just like the F40, the (open) Testarossa, and the 365BB)
In 1/12 there are two kits of the F40, one of the Testarossa and one of 275GTB.

Which is all fine and good... but I want a highly detailed, pre-built 1:12 288 GTO (and Evo, as well)

Lol, no, not the same General Lee... the one from the pic of me as a kid was at least 1:12 scale sized (only not a static model, it was a toy)... I had that poster on the wall where two of the cases were... I think I'm going to take down the Saleen poster, move the F40 over and put the Historics poster up where the F40 poster is now. (the only reason the S7 poster is still up is because it is signed from Steve Saleen to me, met him at the Concorso Italiano in 2004...)

I'm pretty pleased with the quality, especially for a hotwheels model... granted, the "elite" series are more than the regular ones, worth it, IMO. No clue what my collection is worth, got several that were pretty expensive and no longer made as well as the three 1:12 models... it has to be in the thousands at this point I'd guess...

His 1:12 Enzo is selling for £500 at Beaulieu, to give you an idea of the value of just one.
