whoa. that kind of development is more for a prototype than a concept. lets hope its rear-drive.

It is, and it's mid engined. It has 3.2-litre V6 engine under the bonnet developping about 290bhp.

sometimes I really wonder why people come up with something "new" when it has been here

since the Geneva Motorshow where it was presented. It also made an appearance at the Villa d'Este concours..

The car takes many of it's styling cues from Alfa's classic 33 Stradale... compare these two pictures and you'll see what I mean :)

It seems that Alfa Romeo didn't much care for it (it's an Sbarro project), but now they've put together this video, which could be interpretated as showing interest for the car and could a hint a possibility of it reaching production, though I find it highly unlikely.

I have to say that I like it. The Diva and the 8C are 2 of the nicest cars that I have seen in a while. The Brera is nice, but the execution of it was (as ususal) not nearly as sweet as the concept.

I assume you mean the 8C, which will reach production next year. It's rumoured to be based on Maserati mechanicals with a new 4.7-litre V8 under the bonnet. The production version will be presented in the Paris Motorshow.
