Why did you make the pics so small? The ones in the thread I understand, but why was the attached thumbnails also shrunk?

Ha, thanks. I wonder if anyone else has even looked at them. I was at the lakehouse and made a burger, and I saw the water in the background and was like...hmm... *click* :D

you shoudl try, it's fun, and you dont need to invest more than $3-400 to start with to get really good pictures right away.
I would however reccomend if you want to get into that you get either a Sony DSC-H1 (or H2 or H5, they are 5,6,and 7 Megapixels respectively) or a Canon S3 IS. They are really versatile, and have massive zooms, with great image quality.

Thanks man, I'll definitely check it out. Been thinking of getting a digital camera since forever.
One of my friends are also big into photography, but she's talking of getting a Nikon, one of those that requires you to take out a 2nd mortgage.
I don't know though, I think I'll be pretty happy with something capable of giving me 1280x960 pics (I don't know the megapixel lingo yet :o ).

I actually got to check out a Cayman S in a local golf course's parking lot. It was smartly parked as far away from everything else, and I was the only one near it. Almost crapped myself.
No camera:(

You will want more than that, because most photos are good at full resolution, but when you make them smaller they look better, so 4mp would be as low as i would go. a 6 MP camera is 3008x2000 pixels, for referance.

As if fitting into a car isn't hard enough for the average Texan, you go ahead and remove the doors! ;)

Great Chops Whiteballz & Koopa
Shawn...I'll agree, but I have to say, on my recent trip, the fattest people weren't in Texas. :D However being 6'2-3" Doesnt help fitting into small cars...
