McReis gets my vote. I like the way it's composed and the upside image in the bottom of the glass thing adds something to the shot.

Zepp, you're shot almost got my vote. The light on the right is just great, I've seen plenty of shots like it before, but yours is really nice. It's just that apart from that, it doesn't really have anything else for me. A longer exposure might've done it, but then you'd blow out the light. That would've been awesome to make a HDR shot out of.

Thanks for the comments, I was going to try and experiment a bit more with that shot but it started to rain, heh. And great pic yourself, it got my vote, turned out really nicely.

As far as i know, HDR doesnt really work at night.

Zeppelin, use as small an aperture as you can and it will star the light, fun stuff

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out. Hopefully once I get some time off work I can get out and shoot some more.

HDR will work anytime, and would've turned out good for that one, as it would've given detail to the dark sections and keep the detail around the light

Yeah but if that's 13 seconds, to light up the shadow would've taken 45 or so seconds I would guess. Meaning he would use bulb mode, and need a shutter remote. It's doable for sure, but harder than daytime HDR's.
