Lotus Esprit.. What do you think?

How do people feel about the Lotus Esprit. This is the last year of production and then a new version will be coming out in 2005. Prices are going down and I've been thinking of getting one... Comments? (The "possible" look of the new generation Esprit)

Lotus is great performance car but the Elise is some how aged in its style.Compare it with any sports car available today & you'll feel it belongs to early 90s.
Any way the M250 looks cool.

Funny you should mention the Espirit, because I just happened to see one at the mall last weekend. The styling made it easy for me to spot it when its still far away.

The Esprit is a great car but its also very aged despite a facelift. Its about time they bring out the M250. In terms of its design, I think its fantastic. That's how they should have designed the Elise.

nope i think the elise now is perfect in trms of design and i would not be surprised if it was named the most beautiful car of the decade. the m250 is very good but i still like the shaping of the elise 2 better but the 2002 esprit V8 kicks ass

The Espirit is one of my favortie cars. It looks better than almost anything elso out there. My cousin has a 03' in dark red, that thing is awesome. Great sounding car at low revs, has a cool V8 rumble. Plus its FAST!

I've never been a fan of the Lotus Esprit's styling, it's always looked plain to me, like Lotus tried to give the car an Italian look to it and failed, no offence to Lotus fans. I much preffer the Elise, great looks!

Lotus invented that wedge shape! back in the 60's, all them ferraris that have "the wedge" and countless 70's, 80's, 90's japaniese cars all have it.
If it wasnt for the esprite revolutionizing all them other cars.
I think this is one of the most sexiest cars ever, espaecially this one.
