RACE - The Official WTCC Game
For the first time ever a game is focused on the hard hitting, intense action of the exciting WTCC championship which is exploding in popularity all over the world.

Based on WTCC, one of only three official FIA world championships next to Formula 1 and WRC, RACE will feature the complete WTCC championship season of 2006, all the cars, drivers and locations, among these several official tracks and cars brand new to the racing game genre.

The game is recreating the championship as close to real life as possible and simulates the cars and the driving style in a ultra realistic fashion.

Demo's out for PC, it WILL install, just give it time!

Tried it, i think it's crap, i tried oh so hard, and even after doing some "sIk DoRiFt0"s it still wouldn't spin!

Just doesn't seem to give any... feel

The BMW at Brands is fairly realistic and sweet :)

Eye candy is nice too on hi-res.

PS: Set it to professional to get some realism. Tyres go off quite nicely !!!

Can't believe I'd consider giving SimBin/10tacle MORE money for the same simulation with differnet physics and skins :D

I've not had a chance with the FF wheel yet as it's on the old machine and I'm still tweaking this one before switching in. ( Also awaiting stock of G25 wheel :) )
So "feel" might be cr@p !!!!!

i've been putting some tracktime in, only been driving the Leon

got 1.36.9 so far :)

(and ofcourse settings on Professional, and some setup tweeks :) )

To be honest I'm not so sure it's such a great idea bringing it out so soon. Most SimBin fans will have just recently forked out the cash for GTR2 and will be busying themselves with that. I really can't see any but the real hardcore fans wanting to fork out AGAIN for a game that is essentially very similar, except with slower and less exciting cars. The only thing to perhaps lure others in would be if they've made great strides with the AI and the racing is very tough/close, but obviously that's impossible to tell from the demo. :rolleyes:

Considering I'm too tight to have even coughed up for GTR2 yet, I really can't see me splashing out on this game for a while yet! :p

dont make judgements like that when you even havent driven both games.

Trust me, this game really is a hand full in a whole different way then GTR2, i even think its harder. You need to be absolutly perfect with your lines, and carry as much speed through a corner as you can. A real racer doesnt care about speed...
