Here are pics that some friends from Venezuela sent me.

Some that went down to the Amazonas till they reached Brazil (Very long trip), and another group of friends that went to some beach that I don't know exactly where it is.

Great pics, enjoy them. :)

Those Landcruisers are awesome for that kind of stuff :). All you need is great tires and you are ready to go.

I'm happy to see that they enjoy their SUV's, they put their powers to the limit and everytime they have vacations they go on trips like these, there's like a million places to visit down there and an adventure to get there.

Hehe, no no X5's. You wont see many down there. :)

Thanks for the comments. :)

I'll try to get some more pics ;)

PS: my mom used to own a landcruiser (Samurai), I believe she bought it in 1983, then sold it in 1997 and it was on perfect condition. The new owner is a friend of my dad and the guy still has it. Toyotas are great cars.

Yeah, Venezuela sounds likea place with geat potential. I am off this Easter for 6 days to a National Park on the border of South Australia and Victoria. Not quite as extreme as your pics (unless it rains) but quiet and peacefull and no one around except the people who come with us. That why I have a 4x4.

What 4x4 do you have? Post some pics! :D

Australia must be great for this kind of stuff. The scenes over there are amazing (So I have seen in movies and pics)

I'm probably getting more pics today, they seem to have a ton, plus my GF's brother is into that kind of stuff too, I'll see if he has some pics.

I have a 94 80 series with an OME lift kit, dual batteries, roo bar, UHF etc. I will scan some pics when I get a chance. S'pose that means pinning a note for EggNog to the gear stick but I'll see about that too. Australia has some great places but you have to drive long and hard to get to some.

Nice wheel travel. Like to see a X5,M class, Cayenne, ect ect do that. Nice 80 series too. Our mob are fanging for a trip soon. Weathers getting better and a few holidays coming up so you never know.
If anyone complains about this old thread being revived I will abuse my modulator privileges and ban their whining ass.

Well the title of thread says : SUV's in action and what I see are proper FWD's, which I don't mind. I could go to the a local school at finishing time to pic some SUV's in full action collecting the "kids"

Yes... He's just smiling at the camera and trying to look cool, but deep down he knows he's pretty much f*cked :D

It sure seems like a lot of fun :) Many of my friends are into it.

I will be in Venezuela this Saturday, but will only spend a week there... so I don't think I'll have any time to go off-roading :(
