I prefer the 993 GT1 to the 996 GT1. The 993 more closely resembles the the racing version. Plus the rear wing on the 993 looks better to me. They both have great performance though.

woah... I guy who lives a few minute of walk from me has a red one (the only red one ther is). Stunning looking machine. I went by when his butler/private engineer (:)) loaded it off a lorry. I had to stop and have a word. Turned out the owner had crashed one of his McLarens and now raced the Porsche instead. There are pictures in the Stockholm Auto Show coverage i did. The guy is awsome. Total car-nut. He has a fantastic collection of cars including a CLK GTR, three McLarens, Diablo Gt, EB110SS, 996 GT1 and tons of other exotics.

The coolest thing about him is that he lets some of his cars out of the shed sometimes... It's not very shocking to see him screaming past you in the late spring in one of his supercars... :D

yes it is an amazing porsche i don't think there were many made. I have never seen one but i really want to. I have only seen pictures in White or Silver, are those the only colours it came in?
