At a Glance: 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R

When the redesigned 2005 Altima was launched in February 2004, Nissan held back one surprise – the addition of a new, first-ever Altima SE-R model. The Altima SE-R is the sixth model in the 2005 Altima line and shares all of the refinements (including new exterior and interior styling) with the others. And then some.

The Altima SE-R’s standard 3.5-liter V6 engine has been retuned to a higher level of performance and the suspension has been enhanced with performance-tuned front struts and rear shocks, stiffer front and rear springs and thicker front and rear stabilizer bars. The SE-R comes with 225/45R18 W-speed rated tires and 18-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels.

The SE-R’s exterior offers a number of special features, including new front and rear fascias, compact fog lights, new rear spoiler and side sill spoilers and large dual exhaust finishers. Inside, the SE-R features sport-shaped leather-appointed front seats with red or silver leather inserts, dark chrome trim and a three-pod center-mounted gauge package, which is similar to that found on the legendary 350Z.

The new Altima SE-R is scheduled to go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in mid-September 2004.

Those pictures you have got there are choped. Take a look at the Type R badge on the back and why are the tread on the left tires different from the right?

The car is an Nissan Altima SER. I don't see any differences on the tires in either pictures.

Check out the picture that shows the back of the car, the two rear tires have different treads, the far (right) tire looks to be have lot sportier of a tread design. Also, the Nissan badge and the Altima badge aren't straight, checkout how they aren't paralell to the lines of the trunk, you might not notice it at first, but compare it to the SE-R badge, which is really straight.

It maybe photoshopped, but that doesn't make it a fake picture. Many companies photoshop their media pictures. This is directly off the Nissan Media Site. Take it as gospel.

Okay, let me get this straight....This is a REAL picture of the New Altima SE-R?

lets define real...Genuine and Authentic

lets define fake...False or Misleading

Now wouldn't a photoshoped picture be fake, as apposed to a real picture?

And as for your source, post a link, I would like to see this preacher of such gospel for myself.

I can't post a link. It's a site behind a username and password that was created by Nissan, maintained by Nissan and owned by Nissan in order to provide images and information to the media. Exact same place I got the regular Altima shots and the Pathfinder shots.

The pictures are there to show what it looks like, my god.
Not everyone is pro photoshopper.

Props Matt. Drove one once, and loved it. Gorgeous Nissan.

Please note the date of the posts. They were made over a year ago, the first photos that were released WERE photoshopped and it was a logical assumption at the time.
