Can you save vids from Youtube or Google vid?

You can save them to an account on YouTube, but you can't download them to your computer.

Google on the other hand will allow you to download them to your computer.

I believe there is a way through firefox, but I've never particularly cared, thus I don't know what extension/whatever it is you'd need.

Or use http://www.keepvid.com ... you'll have to convert the Flash Video file to a better format once you've downloaded it however.
