They're getting uglier and bigger. That's bad... My dad's old 1995 model was fun to drive in. It was surprisingly quick.

Yeah the first generation Grand Cherokee is still my favorite by far. My father has a 97 Limited, it's about the only SUV I don't mind driving. It looks and feels quite a bit smaller and lighter than the second generation, and the interior and driving position make it feel like a tall car rather than a truck. And of course the classic Jeep 4.0 inline-6 is one of the greatest engines ever built.
