The initial sketch is very good; nice proportions, and has great character that reflects the "fun" image of the Beetle.
The rendering is good too, although there are a few things that make it look a bit odd.
The reflection on the glass isn't following the reflections on the bodywork - the highlight on the tyres indicate the light is coming from the left, but the shadows on the glass indicate the light is coming from the right.
Also, the shadow under the car is undefined, and doesn't seem to be cast from a light source.
The reflections on the bodywork give a good impression of specularity, and the highlights and shading give a good sense of volume too.
