Wasn't that a bond car? Or was the submarine car a lotus esprit? I don't remember. That's really cool though!

The submarine Bond car was indeed a Series 1 Lotus Esprit.

That's a pretty awesome lamborghini. The best amphibious car I've seen to date.

Second pic is probably Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in reality. Remember the car in the game named Infernus that is in fact a Countach? Well, that's it in the water, the coast behind it looks like the coastline of one of the island from Vice City too! Just a thought:rolleyes:

Unless this is sarcasm, it's DEFINATELY not GTA.

I think they just used a Countach body, and not an actual Countach.

I agree, GTA's graphics aren't that good.

That would be the Ryan Z1A. It's based on an actual Countach with some changes (obviously).
The V12 has been replaced with a 3.9 V8 Rover engine, allowing it to reach about 160mph on land and about 15mph in the water. The wheels and suspension can be tucked away in water to prevent drag.
EDIT: Found some more info here (http://www.wheels24.co.za/Wheels24/News/0,,1369-1372_1231571,00.html).

Heh... If you had that in a game like NFS, pursuits would be pretty easy.

I said "Second pic is probably Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in reality" which means in the real world, which also means I definately know this is not GTA. The picture only reminded me of the game.

It would be so much cooler if it still had the 12cyl. The sound of a Rover V8 just doesn't fit a Countach.
At any rate, it's a pretty nice execution of an awsome idea, even it does mean the molestation of what is, to me, at least, one of the more interesting Lamborghinis.

If they had used this kit on the original V-12 engine it would have been even sweeter. ;)
