I will be paying particularly close attention to this thread, your photography is great!! I really like how you take photos of the side profile of a car - something most people are afraid to do as they think its too 'simple' or 'boring' even. Keep up the awesome photography throughout 2007! :D

Thanks a lot, Rob.

^ My feelings exactly. As soon as I saw the title of the thread, knew it was my cup of tea (or coffee!). Your pictures are so damn good, almost as if the cars are posing for you in some, post#6 is full of classic Piacki shots - brilliance.

Oh, and Todt's F430 is damn hot!!

Great! I really like your photos. Let's make a coffee table book of them. To be bought only in UCP's store :)

One correction, the Bentley in 1st post is from Latvia, not Lithuania.

Edit: Post no. 666! Behold the Prince of Darkness, o mortals, for the day is close he will walk the Earth! (And I don't mean g'ddamn Ozzy Osbourne :D )

Very nice collection. And such backgrounds!!!

P.S.: ...but that Bentley Mulsanne is with latvian plates, not lithuanian.

Your pictures always seem to be of the same concept: a supercar in front of a fancy French store or restaurant, which is great because your obviously taking advantage of being able to walk around Paris frequently, with a decent camera in hand. I'd take any advantage to walk around any city frequently :p Nice work as usual.

Piacki, I love your photographs and I think your photography skills are great.

Why do you never take photographs of American or Asian cars? I'm not criticising you, I'm just curious.

I use a Sony DSC-R1, with, from November a polariser filter and a tripod.

My bad... :o

All of these pics have already been posted in the Hide-Out, so yes, it's quite possible.

Well, the only decent american/asian cars we have in France are the Corvette, the NSX and the EVO...

The only ones we need!

The Citroen TA pic (is it a Commerciale?), another of my favuorites.

And the Jaguar XJ-S somewhat looks very good on that photo.

By the way Piacki, am I wrong or you haven't shot many cars since 2007 has started?

I love that shot too... And yes you're right, I have't gone to Paris for a while. You know, it's winter (although the weather was exceptionnaly warm till recently - but today it's snowing), I have a lot of homework and exams to prepare for... Moreover it's the sales in france at the moment, so the public transports are extremely busy and there are even more tourists than usually (just try to get a good shot of a red ferrari on the champs-elysées... :D ). I'll probably go back to Paris during the holidays, which are in 3 weeks...
