I think it looks better than most of Pontiac's current lineup.

Judging by the filename ("G8-21"), I'm guessing it's an artist's conception of how the upcoming Pontiac G8 (based on the Holden Commodore) will look.

I actually think it looks pretty nice. The front end is suitably aggressive, and the shape of the grille is a good interpretation of the trademark Pontiac split grille.

it is, based on the Holden Commodore SS. the rest of the car looks the same except for the front. I like Pontiac "face". Holden's face is plain.

It represents virtually a total rebody of Holden VE; the reason why would be to delude GM-US brand/badge diehards that their new USA Pontiac .. a vehicle which was designed in one country (Australia) and manufactured in another (Canada) .. is truly all-American


Chops are one thing but how it turns out in the metal is quite another. Judging by what Pontiac did to uglify Monaro into GTO, what's the bet they'll mutate the clean-looking VE into somthing like this

The lower part of the front bumper isn't bad at all, But the grill jumps in your face hard over sized way too big.
Is it a thing now a days too have the front dominated by a grill?

I'm in 2 minds about it. There's something about it that seems good to me, but if I break it down and try and analyse it, it's all bad.

Oh, and chop in the OP is so out of proportion. The VE is huge, but a car with that front would be monstrous

It's got that 300c large front about it look at me look. That's ok but it doesn't fit into the cars shape, With the VE it's a good design and it needs too be fit into it rather then added too it.
But in saying that i think it';s better then the Monaro front just.

The wheels are kind of ridiculously huge, otherwise, I'm OK with the styling. If I had to critique it further, I'd say lose some of the swoopiness in favor of some more angular lines, and not favor the forward rake so much.

1972-74 HQ with the so-called 'BMW copyright infringement' split grille treatment, a very attractive car imo

For trivia, the old HK-HG Broughams and following Stato DeVilles etc were the only GM cars worldwide to share the Cadillac Wreath badges (wow)

Mine had a Holley + air shocks + duals + 11 mths reg but an ex-Darwin roughie with mega oxidised interior and a hole in one of the C pillars that looked like it was done by a forklift prong :D It caught fire on me one night in the middle of Canberra CBD

I seen something the other day that shocked me, A EL XR6 that was sitting in the car park looked like it was stolen and smashed sitting there, Looked like the left side was smashed into a tree or pole the B pillar was pressed in a good 5+ " and the doors half open windows smashed. Someone got in it and drove it away:eek: And i'm worried about my car:p
