The dude who took these lost his job at Lufthansa. Guess where the car was heading. :)

Poor guy. The lesson is, don't take pictures of cars going to the Nurburgring. How is he in jail though I wonder? "Illegal photography"? That is a joke.

Is it really worth it to lose your job over these pictures?

Nice pictures anyway though.

Shame about that job.

That's sa-weet, but if you're gunna call a car the Blue Devil then at least make sure it's blue... come on, GM :p

The first one was blue. That's just not. And blue is my favourite colour, I know what blue looks like. It's blue.

No one has ever seen the "blue devil", only Z06's with blue devil parts. If your refering to the blue Z06 that ran the n-ring, that was a stock Z06.

It sounded like you thought that the n-ring car was the blue devil.

That is the most solid reasoning that UCP has ever been party to.

Simple enough, isn't it? ;)

But see above post for explanation...

What it comes back to every time on the matter - price.

And even then, I can think of an awful lot of cars that give a lot of "bang for your buck" - e.g. TVR Tuscans are now less than £20,000 second hand.

Of course you'll now have to move the goal posts again and claim that it has to be new cars only, to give the Z06 a fighting chance of being anywhere near "best".

He speaks the truth. There are alot of older cars that are a better bang for the buck...

Yes- quite a few cars depreciate very steeply, giving us commoners the chance to own something that's really quite savage and/or unexpected :D I've seen Trevs go for £12,000 and M5s (the real one, not the new fake one) go for £8,000. If that's not a bargain- 2 amazing cars for the price of a new Golf GTi- then I don't know what is.

However, I will give credit where it is due- the Z06 is amazing value for money, taking into consideration that it's stupidly quick and also looks quite bullish. It's still only LHD, though. Which sucks.
