Long time ago when there was no Cayenns or X5s, Lamborghini tried to establish new market for its products which wasn't that stylish :the LM001!
At Geneva motorshow1981 Lamborghini unveiled its first,and obviously last,offroader ever and it was called LM001!
A lot of name changes took place & in 1983 the LM004 was unveiled - complete with a Lamborghini 7.3-litre V12!
Needless to say that Humvy was being developed at the same time in the US for the american army so this car did not have the attention Humvy got.

actually the model shown is the LM002 the LM001 (the prototype) looked a bit different, specially the rear of the car, from the LM004 there was only one made
