I'm betting that drivabilty, reliabilty and cost also played a part.

they want to have car 1000 bhp / tonne and probably the car appeared heavier then they thought hence they need more pow4h :D

OK this car is seriously something to get excited about. It's like your own F1 car at home! WHat kind of engine is going in it? Make, configuration, etc?
RST who were making the 2.4 litre V8 appear to have fallen off the face of the planet.
This may have something to do with the need for a change.
