I've done a light search, but as far as I know there isnt a thread like this already. Mods feel free to rename it.

Quite simple. Post a pic of your desk and your pc or your workspace for us all to see. Sure to come up with some interesting photos :p

Here's my home desktop, with some recent 'slight' green modifications :rolleyes::

Rik, what's with the 2 screens?

1 widescreen 19" with 5ms response for gaming. The other for surfing the net and chatting etc. Saves alot of time :)

i find that too, i often go into advanced search just to be sure, but i still end up browsing stuff, no worrys!

After looking through the old thread and this one, I am surprised at the lack of Macs seen. I guess I thought more people on here were Mac people.

Maybe its because I have been living in the Telecommunications/Journalism building for two long (Two depts that recommend Macs)

I'm still PC but I will be going Mac in a couple years' time.

It's not that difficult.

Go to the search drop down menu, select advanced search. This will open up a new window. When you are in the new window, select 'search by title'. In the query, just put in the word "desktop", it is the 2nd result to come up, just behind this thread.

I put in PC and desk and workspace, turns out I was just unlucky. Besides isnt this a more appropriate title for the thread anyway? I dont see the big deal, it was a mistake.

It isn't a big deal, I was just pointing out that there is another thread which wasn't very difficult to search for.

I'm just getting annoyed at reposted threads every other day, especially when it's reposted as something like "OFFICIAL UCP Video Thread", or something like that.

I'll merge 'em in a bit. Now, nothing to see here kids, carry on.

Probably because people on this forum are intelligent :p Macs are - in my experiences - wastes of money.
They cost much more for same spec which will run slower than XP with same specs (not sure about Vista but probably the same as OS), they do get viruses, They're overhyped and i just generally don't like them, but its up to people to make their own choices, i'm just somebody who doesn't like Macs.

I think a well-specced PC will do fine rather than a Mac :) But i understand why people buy Macs, just wouldn't myself... Matter of opinion

Please forgive me the sin of putting a Opel poster on the wall :o It was the only one I had when I needed to cover up this hole...

Two weeks left to wait. If I don't go to the doc I get a substantial amount of money from my insurer, which I need to pay my University :)

Plus I have it for over two months now and it doenst get worse or doesn't hurt too much...

Here they are, my office has 2 desks, one at each end, I'm usually using the one in the first picture because it's the better one and it has all my stuff on, my Dad's work computer, then we have the other which I'm using at the moment, Mum's on the laptop in the Living room and my PDA is in my room:D
Nothing fancy...

I know i should stop. I have it for ages now. Yea, my desk is littered with Automotive literature, notes, books, magazines, the odd CD, dictionaries whatever... I am so busy i rarely have time to clean up. And I prefer to go and take pictures anyway :)

lol, the stuff for the computer in the first pic are all 2004, the one in the second picture is all 2001

Might replace the 2001 comp(im on it now) soon with a nice new black DELL or something soon, it's getting on a bit, abd it's dog slow. The 2004 computer is fine, it works great and is really quick, it's used as our network server and it has 3 harddrives so it'd be a big job replacing it! The Monitor's a bit dodgey though...

Yeah, this computer, the second one had Windows ME on it, but Dad got XP Home for it.

Aaron, you replaced your pencil pot on the top left of your desk by ketchup and mustard bottles... which is kinda strange. Also, on the first pic you posted there was a lot of Dr. Pepper cans... I love Dr. Pepper. Just finished a 2-liter bottle just now. With ice. I don't know why I'm saying this so I guess I should go to bed now, I'm tired lol.
