Okay... UK_CARS just posted pictures of his buddy's riced-out Del Sol/CRX. I figured it was about time for a reversal of the standard chop contests :)
The contest is as follows: (in both pictures) Make the car look as close to stock as possible!
EDIT: THe winner of this contest will get a +2, for the sake of making this a little more popular.

heres mine. its kinda hard trying to take off the spoiler. so i put a convertible on it. :p

kinda. but its more ferrari 360 converitble and a honda civic crx body
the other one. it looks like the stock car but its kinda messed up near the bottom.

Well I got the back view done. the hardest part I had was the bottom of the car and the gravel to make it look natural! I like the big exhaust. :D
If I had more time I could of put the brick wall that you would see through the window of the white car and the interior of the car! I will try and have the other view some time this week!

I know this is off topic but I have one small questions. When you do a chop or anythin like that, how can I make the windows look tinted because I took a car and put it in another background and I think it would be much easier to make the car look like it has tinted windows, than try to change the windows to match the background.
On Topic: Those are great pictures! I'm actually getting interested to do some chops myself. :D
To tint wondows, just select the window(s) you want to tint with one of the Lasso tools (Polygonal Lasso will be best) then go to Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast and move the brightness slider to the left.
That's how to do it in Photoshop, haven't a clue with anything else :o

You must have a very old monitor. Mine isn't exactly what you'd call up to the minute, and it does 1024x768. It's worth getting something a bit bigger I think.
Please don't try to hi-jack other peoples threads and post something off-topic, but if you want to start a thread of images you think are great for desktop backgrounds, feel free! But try to have something a bit bigger than 800x600 :)
