hello, I'm just a lowly Australian uni student and I'm stuck on an assignment in a certain design course regarding F1 cars. I need to find some examples of the process that the manufacturers of the 1960s went through to design the F1 car of the time. I've noticed that wings, spoilers and larger tyres were added onto the cars of the 60's. It seems it was around this time that downforce must have become a major issue in racing. can anyone help me by directing me to a site or something that has info on this topic?
thank you, even if you just take the time to read this!

i dont have any links, but UCP has a fair amount of info in the car archives on F1 cars, and if you look hard enough you should be able to find a list of all the F1 cars on the site positioned in order of year, so maybe in the car descriptions you can find some good stuff there
