It was like "Hey, what's that? The Speed Six? What is he doing here, on the open parking? Hey, there are some more! The 356, Beetle, LaSalle (I considered it was Nash for the first :o ), some more Bentleys, Lagondas and.. wow! Itala?! All in one place at the same time..OMG!" I realized it was a Peking-to-Paris rally only when looked at those cars' yellow numberplates... Wow! Such cars (the oldest one was 1903 Mercedes 60hp!) driving this hard way through the desert from China to France. Sounds great! I wondered why didn't I know about the rally and why the magazines still don't write anything about it up to now.
Unfortunately, I had no camera by me, so I just took some awful photos on my cell phone (I think they're no interest for you - 0,3 mpix). But next morning I've come there again just to have the pics. Yes, I know that I'm a bad photographer, but since the moment I'm trying to increase my skills somehow.
Here are some pics from the event - June 19 2007, Moscow, Russia, Hotel Cosmos ("Space" - maybe someone even know :) ) parkplace.

Shown here are 1936 Bentley Derby 4.25, 1934 Lagonda T7, 1961 Jaguar MkII and 1933 Dodge Roadster.

1938 Chevrolet Fangio Coupe. Sounds real great! I couldn't even assume this small car could make such sounds! This one was equipped with 3500cc engine. I'll try to get the vid, if you will be interested - I think I can find one.
The second one is 1960 Sunbeam Rapier Saloon which, at its turn, also sounds good. Amazing. This tiny car!

1959 Porsche 356A and 1953 Bentley Special (yes, exactly, 1953! Seems that it's some replica, maybe even factory made - I don't know, sorry)

More of 1939 Bentley Derby 4.25 and 1919 La France (don't look at the grilles with Itala name, it's the La France. As far as I know, a couple days before something happened to this car, so the Itala grilles appeared). How do you like La France's 14500cc engine?

Here shown are 1932 Sunbeam 16 and 1937 Cord 812 Roadster, which didn't take a part in rally, but was there to find its new owner :)

One more 1937 Cord 812 Roadster. Unfortunately, by the time I have arrived there again with the cam, the most interesting cars (at my opinion:) ) have been already gone, so such cars as 1911 Knox R45, 1907 Itala 40 and 1903 Mercedes 60hp are only in my cell phone. Sorry :( Now that's all. Hope you will enjoy the cars! Yes, if someone will be interested, I've got some vids from digital cam - small resolution, but there are some amazing engine sounds=)
